Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Locate the Search Bar at the top of the dashboard.

  2. Enter the Company Name or the Official Registration ID (Org. number).

  3. Select the relevant Region Filter to narrow down your results:

    • Nordics: Filters for entities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

    • UK: Filters for entities registered in the United Kingdom.

    • Global: Searches our entire global database across all jurisdictions.

  4. Select the correct entity from the list of results to open its full profile.

Expected Outcome

The system will display a list of matching companies. Each result typically includes the company name, its primary jurisdiction, and its current status. Clicking a result will take you directly to that company’s comprehensive data profile.

Key Considerations & Limitations

  • ID Formatting: When searching by registration ID, avoid using special characters such as spaces, dashes, or dots (e.g., use 123456789 instead of 123-456-789). Special characters may interfere with the search algorithm and lead to "Not Found" results.

  • Exact Matches: If you have the registration ID, it is the most reliable way to find the exact legal entity you are looking for.

  • Broad vs. Narrow: If a name search returns too many results, use the Region Filter to refine the list.

  • Entity Not Found: If a company does not appear even after searching by ID without special characters, it may not be in the public registers we support. In this case, you can use the "Add Custom Company" feature.
