This feature allows you to view the different classes of shares a company has issued (e.g., preferred, ordinary, A-shares). It also provides the ability to filter the company's ownership structure to see only the owners associated with specific share classes.
Primary Use Case
Use this feature during a KYB investigation to understand complex ownership structures. It is particularly useful for identifying UBOs or controllers based on specific types of shares, such as those with enhanced voting rights (e.g., preferred shares) versus those with only economic rights.
To View Share Classes:
Go to the "Ownership" section.
Locate and click the "Share Classes" toggle or button.
To Filter Ownership by Share Class:
After enabling the "Share Classes" view, locate the filtering options (this may be next to the share class chart or in a filter menu).
